Prue's Profile

Since graduating from Burnley in 1991 I have worked in many facets of the Horticulture industry both here in Australia, in England and in Germany. This experience in landscaping, design, maintenance and the retail nursery industry is the foundation of my horticultural knowledge and creative style. It was my time spent working in London with a large, successful and experienced landscape company that really inspired me to work towards launching my own landscape design business. Whilst employed there I worked under the guidance of a wonderful designer, enthusiastic horticulturists and businessmen. I was involved in producing two gardens at the prestigious Chelsea Flower Show and one at the Hampton Court Flower Show. This proved great inspiration for my future career as well as encouraging me to exhibit at the Melbourne International Flower & Garden Show which I have done three times.

I have also taken on the role of Selector for West Gippsland for the Australian Open Garden Scheme. The AOGS is a non-profit organisation that began in Victoria in 1987. Their aim is to promote the knowledge and pleasure of gardens and gardening across Australia. They do this by opening Australia's most inspiring private gardens to the public.

I have been fortunate enough to have a career that is deeply satisfying and I am passionate about, making my every working day pleasurable.
